25% opacity, red, orange rim. Lovely sweet candy nose. Fantastic smooth syrupy entry. Nice balance, full mouthfeel. Hints of spice, great complexity.

Deep rose colour with a dark orange rim; 60% opaque. Little time in the decanter means that the nose is a bit muted. Some vigorous swirling releases a cranberry and heather honey nose that is quite delicious. This port has a wonderful texture, with cranberries and bitters washing over the tongue. Air releases a huge volume of complex flavours, which meld together into a deep bitter-sweet orange on the late palate. The aftertaste is enormous, chewy and full of fruit and the finish is everlasting. A fabulous bottle of this port. 94/100. Decanted Pop 'n' pour.

N66. Dark red, 40% opaque. Palate dry. At least one of smoke and leather. Very dry, especially late.
