2011 Quinta da Revolta LBV

Revolta by name and sadly this bottle was revolta by nature, well it certainly caused an upheaval.
Medium ruby colour. No cork taint but a faint stale stink mixed with a mild aroma of raisins.
On the attack and mid palate it was bitter with a distinct green edge combined with mild heat and a hint of berry fruits.
It didn't improve plus 24, 36 or 48 hours so was poured away as my better half wouldnt countenace cooking with it.
Most unpleasant wine tasted so far, perhaps a duff bottle or too young to drink. Although only £9 it was disappointing to pour it away.
