Deep purple with a baffling aroma which was made even more confusing because I had just used a different hand wash - another lesson learnt. It will most probably be immediately apparent to those of a botanical bent or of a certain faith but for me cistus was a first. Cocoa also noticeable.
Oily in the glass but no viscous mouthfeel.
Almost no heat and somewhat dry. A mouth filling taste of ripe dark cherries which overshadowed blackberry and a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, couldn't decide which. Good length.
Quirkely different but strangely delicious.
