1986 Churchill Fojo

Two bottles from a case of three, via Laithwaites in mid/late 90s, purchase price around £25 per bottle (unfortunately can't find full records).

Decanted about an hour before drinking. Still quite dark, with no obvious browning to rim; softening tannin but retaining some structure; lots of primary fruit still. No discernible bottle variation.

Quite nice, but nothing special. Drinking well now & don't think it's going to get any better but don't need to rush to finish up.

I don't think I've ever seen a bottle of Churchill Fojo - any chance of a picture of the bottle/label/capsule, please?
How does it compare to the Churchill '85 do you feel?

I had a stash of the Fojo 1989 (also from Laithwaites) that are now long gone. I remember it being a very nice glass of port, as evidenced by this one and only TN from 2007: http://www.theportforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=431

I note that I didn't mention Churchill in the title but presume it was also made by them.

Thank you for posting the images - interesting to see what they looked like.
Would you also be happy to let me add them to the VPID, with credit to you of course? (vintage port bottle, label and capsules image database, www.hallarn.com/vpid)
