A bottle which was obviously compromised. Dark toffee colour and full of fine particulate, opaque. Oxidised nose with lots of rosemary oil and antiseptic. On the palate this is soft and sweet and first with gentle brown sugar tones. These are slowly replaced by a modest layer of acidity before the rosemary and antiseptic come to the fore. The finish is long and full of rosemary oil. Sadly this was a spoiled bottle, but not to the extent of being undrinkable. 95/100. Drunk 25-Sep-16. Decanted ½ hour.
