2011 Quinta do Noval

Magenta in colour and with no rim. Powerful on the nose with opulent fruit yet with lovely flower perfume and gentle spices. Sweet and fruity entry, the tannins appearing slowly but very firmly. Wonderful poise on the palate with the purple fruit being sumptuous and lush. Sweet fruit led afertaste and a long blueberry with dark chocolate finish. This is an amazing port. 97/100. Drunk 26-Sep-16. Pop 'n' pour.
