Deepest colour of all the '66 ports tasted this evening, centre barely transparent. Warm and inviting on the nose with a touch of alcohol showing over stewed plums. Initially sweet when hitting the tongue with tannins showing as a light layer of dust. Lovely, fruity and refined. Great mid-palate that just doesn't stop growing as one layer after another - brown sugar and pomegranite juice. Huge aftertaste that fills the mouth and cheeks until you have to take another mouthful. Superb. 9/10 or 95/100. Decanted for 5 hours and drunk on 28/1/08.

Like Ghandih has said elsewhere here this is probably the best port I have ever had. I have been privelaged to share 3 bottles of this with some of those that attended this Offline (I think KillerB is the only one to share all 3 bottles  ) and every one of them has been superb.

With a retail price of around £115 this is also fantastic value for money when compared with many other lesser quality wines at the same or a higher price. Just don't tell anyone until we've bought it all

My TN says: "Very dark. Massive - thick - plummy - lasts forever - best again!!"

I rated this 1st and AHB had it at 2nd out of 14.

A big thanks to AHB for adding this to the line-up.

The Heavyweight Champion of the World!!! This, the 63 and 85 are just rippling muscles on a young stallion.

This was beaten into second by a nose (not mine or it would have been well beaten)I think that this port has more legs than the NN and woulg give it 8-9 onTom's scale.
