Purchased by Christopher Gee from Berry Brothers and Rudd in London in January 2008 specifically for this off-line.

Deep centre, paling on the rim. Alcohol pushing through tp give the typical Taylor minty / menthol nose. Rich stewed raisins and rose perfume with the mint. Dry entry and surprisingly tannic still. Texture a little watery in the mouth but lovely cherry and cranberry flavours. Mid-palate a little hollow but wonderful aftertaste. This will improve for quite some time to come - say 10-20 years. 5/6 or 90/100. Decanted for 4 hours and drunk on 28/1/08.

Another top flight bottle and no disagreement with AHB's note.

My TN says: "Dark, thick and tannic. Not ready!"

I rated this at 6th out of 14. AHB had is at 8th.

Enormous thanks are due to Christopher for his generosity in providing this bottle. You are, as always, a Gentleman, sir
