One of four bottles purchased from Uncle Tom by Derek T in December 2007. The total cost of £180 was subsequently shared equally between Derek T, Conky, Overtired & emotional and KillerB, the last of whom takes credit for the contribution of this bottle to the line-up.

Deeper in colour than the Dow '66 standing next to theis glass with a dark centre that holds in to the rim. A sweet nose with a rich depth of all spice and rich fruit cake topped with marzipan. A dryer entry than expected with a still tannic structure around which is wrapped a sweet cherry coating that just keeps changing shape as you hold it in your mouth. An aftertaste that just glides around the toungue and cheeks and never quite finishes. Just simply a super port and one which has a lot of life left ahead of it yet. 8/9 or 94/100. Decanted for 5 hours and drunk on 28/1/08.

This was a fabulous bottle of port. Much better than my last three memories of its 1963 sibling.

My TN says: "Extremely thick - plummy - gorgeous. Just what Graham's is all about. Perfect now."

Both AHB and I had this as 3rd out of 14.

Special thanks are due to Uncle Tom for allowing us to have this bottle from his cellar despite not being able to join us. Thank you, Tom.
