1955 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2014)

Bottled 2014. I'll admit to being disappointed with this, it had quite a simple profile with a dominant flavour of sour cherries. I know I don't have the best ability to sift and identify individual flavours within a wine, but in this case there really was only 1 thing I could taste. Also it was slightly more acidic then necessary to perfectly balance the sweetness. Pleasant enough, but I'd rather of just had a good 30 YO tawny. 87 points.
