1984 Warre LBV

I've just opened and decanted a Warre 1984 LBV. However, the cork states very clearly: "Warre 1984 Bottled 1987".
Erroneous cork? Not actually an LBV? Other thoughts?
Delicious at D+0h, as have been previous 80's Warre LBVs, and other Warre VPs. Around 50% opaque, clear red. Very smooth, red cherries with hint of pepper and spice. Good fullness and length.
