NV Graham Tawny 20YO (bottled 2016)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

From a 4.5 litre jeroboam. Bottled 2016. Burnished orange colour, 30% opaque. Prunes and dried apple on the nose. Gentle entry, balanced and languid bringing burnt sugar, molasses, bruised apple juice and a great level of acidity. Delicious aftertaste of bruised apples and Rhubarb & Custard sweets. 91/100. Drunk 21-Feb-17.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
