NV Quinta da Silveira Tawny 10YO

Available by the glass from the Boot & Flogger. An earthy brown colour with hints of red tone; 50% opaque. Lovely powerful fragrance on the nose, lots of deep orange marmalade and hints of burnt sugar. Thick texture on the palate, lovely burnt sugar and fragrant blood orange - very sweet and honeyed but with (just) enough acidity to keep the palate fresh. Delicious aftertaste and a very, very long finish. Very impressive for a 10 year old tawny. Served at £9.90 for a 100ml pour. 91/100. Drunk 27-Mar-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
