Mature bronzed red colour, 40% opaque. Gentle nose, not showing much with just a little thick and sweet sandalwood. Thick texture on the palate, slightly treacly. Deep and delicious fruit driven palate, balanced by the acidity and full of flavour. Rich and mouthfilling this is complete and rounded on the palate. Plenty of acidity and fragrance keeps the balance and still shows a hint of tannin drying the edges of the teeth. A little too much acidity shows on the aftertaste then a very interesting finish of dry black chocolate which compliments the bruised orange. 94/100. Drunk 19-Apr-17. Decanted 13½ hours.

Cn63, decanted 06:00. Red, 30% opaque. Palate hot, very hot, and very dry. Faded cherries behind; mid-to-light weight. But it improved with air in the glass, and became less dry.
