Taylor crusted, bottled 1967. Brown, 20% opaque. Nose acidic and ’orrible. Palate better: weird candy flavours, with mint throughout. But still way past its zone. Drink circa 1987.

Bottled in 1967. Golden amber in colour with a wide green rim. Empty and blank on the nose, showing nothing. Neutral entry and a neutral palate that shows nothing but a touch of golden syrup balanced by sweet apple acidity. A lovely burst of flavour on the finish improves the score by two points. The finish is very pleasant, although too short. 82/100. Decanted 7½ hours.
