30% opacity, brown-red. Fresh lively port, red fruits, mild dryness, lip-licking finish - orange peel.

Mid red-orange colour, 30% opaque. Sweet nose, faint and showing treacle rather than fruit. The fruit comes through on the palate nicely, sweet but with plenty of acidity. Pleasantly fresh and nicely focused, gentle tannins give a dry undertone. Sweet and slightly sticky finish of lingering redcurrant jelly that is nicely developed. Sweet and tasty without being close to greatness. 86/100. Decanted 7½ hours.
