This bottle was the single varietal Touriga Franca.
Reddish-brown colour, quite lightly pigmented. Interesting on the nose, light and floral yet quite complex. Sweet and reminding me of a vinho licoroso on the palate, good texture but light on impact and flavour, not much more that black wine gums. Good and gentle acidity but no tannins remaining. Lots of sweetness on the aftertaste and a finish of sweet wine-gums of good length. Not Rated. 23-Jun-17. Decanted 5½ hours.
