NV Ramos Pinto Lagrima Tinto

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Drunk at Ramos Pinto.

A new category of port. A deep rose pink colour, 20% opaque. Light candied nose full of bubble gum. Sweet candyfloss entry and mid-palate, delicate and floral (but very sweet). Sweet and sticky finish. Nice if chilled or if mixed with tonic or another mixer over ice otherwise only for those with a very sweet tooth! Not Rated. 23-Jun-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
