1924 Ramos Pinto Colheita

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

A bottle drawn from the blending stocks in cask.

Olive brown colour with lots of VA on the nose. Thick in texture with some acidity showing initially and lots on the mid-palate. Smooth olive paste and kumquat flavours on the late palate and aftertaste. This absolutely sings on the finish. Not Rated. 23-Jun-17. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
