Cá77, decanted noon. Dark dark red, opacity not noted. Lighter than the two ’70s, with some spearmint, and a dirty note — farmyard? — that I didn’t like.

Again the odd but distinctly soapy nose, this time on a deeply red, barely mature port that is 80% opaque. Under the soap is a concentrated redcurrant syrup. While the soap is the first and initial impression of this port, there are dry tannins under the odd flavour and some sweet fruit. A flash of acidity pops up on the aftertaste with some burnt cocoa on the finish. This is sweet and sticky and unbalanced but has a decent finish. Overall this is harsh and unpleasant. 74/100. 6 hour decant.
