Deep red with a dark rim, 90% opaque. Little showing on the nose - but perhaps the ghost of TCA? Smooth texture on the palate but then a wave of TCA turns everything mouldy. Shame. Not Rated. 19-Dec-17. Decanted 5½ hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

D77: dark red, 50% opaque. Dry, black pepper, cloying, big and closed, perhaps because of the TCA to which I am not sensitive.
