Mature red with nice pigmentation, 60% opaque. Lovely nose of warm fruit, gently spiced and stewed with cloves and tobacco. Really complex nose, very nice. Round and flavoursome on entry; soft and sweet, gentle yet also well rounded. A lovely balance on the palate — and air releases lots more flavour and fragrance. Lots going on in this palate, and a wine which is still quite youthful. Some heat on the aftertaste takes some time to settle down. Lingering aftertaste, dominated by the sweet fruit and a hint of green wood. This is really lovely port. 94/100. 19-Dec-17. Decanted 3 hours.

40% opacity, rich red. Youthful, powerful, great structure, full mouthfeel. Big fruits. Superb port.

F77. Glorious red, 45% opaque. Palate “less glamorous than F77 used to be”. Nonetheless, bigger than others, with both red and black fruit.
