Mature red colour, pale and light at only 30% opacity. Sweet and slightly cloying nose; time develops more perfume and improves the level of interesting coming out of the glass. Thick and soft in texture on the palate but with limited flavours and still a touch of the tannins providing a dryness to the palate. Air helps the late palate come to life, slowly becoming full and attractive. The aftertaste is rich and flavoursome, with a lovely fruit finish of good length. 89/100. 19-Dec-17. Decanted 6½ hours.

30% opacity, warm red, very clear. Lovely sweet red fruit nose. Silky smooth entry, chewy sweetness, red fruits - strawberries. Chocolate in the finish, with soft tannins and mild heat.

O77: Pink-red, 30% opaque. A grumpy tasting note for a Port that was liked: slightly acrid, heat; also cherries, sweetness, and spearmint.
