Ck27, recorked 1976: red-brown, 40% opaque. Nose off: bacterial. Palate started better than the nose, soft and oleaginous, dry, though the ending falling apart. Then deteriorated. My first off bottle of Ck27.

Recorked by Whitwhams in 1976. Deep red-mahogany colour, 80% opaque. A revolting nose, sour and offensive. Clearly bacterial infection or perhaps weevil damage. Really offensive palate. A damaged and spoiled bottle.

Massively faulty bottle. Strong smell of antiseptic; didn't really want to taste but did, and wished I hadn't.
Not rated.
