In a bottle of Fonseca 1963 was a question rather than a certain answer:

Another bottle from the pipe sold at Bonham's in 2016 (see previous case tasting here); despite a decent colour and no evidence of seepage (intact cork and capsule prior to decanting), this was sadly quite faulty to taste.

35% opacity. Nose of burnt rubber and cold coffee. Bitter to taste. Faulty. Seems like the bottles from the pipe auctioned at Bonhams are a bit of a crap shoot.

F63: dark red, 60% opaque. Nose bacterially awful. Not tasted.
