1980 Warre

Post by jdaw1 »

Alex was in town. Obvious consequences followed, for he, Julian, Charles, and Mike.

W80, from MPM. Dark dark red, 95% opaque. Young plum and prune, and something else. Slightly dirt early palate, mid weight — which is too light for colour.

I should have guessed this, from the baga taste. Fooled by the slight dirt early palate — idiot!

95% opacity, very dark red. Dark unripe fruit on the nose. Smooth, tannic, not huge acidity, dark fruits, plums.
