1994 Tesco

Post by jdaw1 »

Alex was in town. Obvious consequences followed, for he, Julian, Charles, and Mike.

Ts94. Dark dark red, 95% opaque. Mid weight, good sweetness, some menthol, long plum fruit, a hint stewed. Port that can be drunk with pleasure — including financial — but not of the top few ranks.

80% opacity, dull red. Jammy nose. Young, some tannin, jammy but also spices and pepper. A bit stewed. The stewedness pushed me to guess Tesco '94!
