1970 Graham's vintage port

Drunk 15/2/08 and decanted for two and a half days. Deep red in colour, slightly pink on the rim. Nose warm and full of cloves and nutmeg. Initially not sweet in the mouth but really a little hollow on first impact. Great development with first the sweetness coming through, balanced by a streak of acidity, and then the many different layers of fruit and coffee charge into focus. The aftertaste is just amazing, this is where the tannins really show through, and lasts a long time. Great port and a better showing than last night. 7/8 or 92/100.

Is this G70 the remnants of the … 1970 Horizontal … ?

Is this G70 the remnants of the Valentines Day 1970 Horizontal, or is this bonus port?

This was bonus G70, drunk with lunch on the Friday just before departing for the airport.
