2016 Quinta de la Rosa
Purple and opaque. An amazing nose full of fruit, one of the most fragrant ports from this vintage. The fruit is ripe and lush on the palate and comes with a good grip. This is a lovely fruit-dominated port with plenty of grip which can be drunk early or aged for up to 20-30 years. La Rosa have clearly got into their stride for making good vintage port. 89-91/100. 26-Sep-18.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
