1970 Nacional, consumed Thursday 14th February 2008, and from the collection of Ted and Danielle.
Slightly cloudy, but a similar dark dark red to the NN67 sampled the previous weekend. The nose, for me, washed out by the bottle stink. To taste medium weight, reasonable length, ‟strong bottle stink flavour”, ‟entirely unremarkable”. Maybe a 4/5 on Tom’s system. Acceptable basic drinking port, but not at anything like the price! Ted was also unimpressed with his bottle; some found in it more merit than did I.
