Rose to brownish color and a tawnyish nose. Moderate to light weight for a Port, candied almonds and a hint stewy. 91 points

Vesivio 1990 is tight and acidic nose, with a strong licorice note. In the mouth it is a pontefract cake -- Licorice oil and Molasses throughout the early & mid palate. Way too long of a burn in the back, and the familiar vesuvio "bite" on the tongue. 90.
