This widely-reported-upon port hardly needs further encomia but for completeness' sake...
Decanted 26 hours before tasting note, but sealed and refrigerated overnight.
Still dark red, 90% opaque. Still quite dumb on the nose, but some mint and eucalyptus and the faintest prickle of heat. On the front palate, the prickle is still there but then it's summer pudding all the way, currants (white and red) dominant but with some raspberries showing later. Then a 45-second primary finish that is increasingly cocoa-powder, and the same 45 seconds again of alcoholic burn (attractive). Excellent, but young yet.
