Git!
Does the Madelena signify secondary or SQ?

Yes, it's from Quinta de Madalena, the principal Quinta owned by SW. It's also the same as the bottles I sold you by text last Saturday morning

Yes, I think I remember you explaining that by text. Unfortunately I've slept since then

All you need to know at this stage is that it is beautiful wine.
Do you care to share a TN on your D-LBV01?

Chemical, Medicinal, Brutal, Drinkable.
Will that do?

This was opened on Thursday, not tasted on Friday, tasted on Saturday after and Indian meal (no TN taken) and will be finished this evening (Sunday).
+72 Hours
The colour of this wine always makes me smile. It is a beautiful glowing pinky-red colour when held in the light. The nose is still full of red fruit, even after 3 days in an open decanter. Nice thick texture with chocolate and dark cherry as the prominent tastes. The finish is now starting to fall apart a bit but I can forgive that after being open this long.
Overall, my assessment of this wine is that it is better than Conky's Dow LBV 2001

Derek,
While I'm still awake, throw in a score. I'm interested as I'll be tasting it within a few months. (I hope)

I've scored this at 7-6 previously. AHB scored it 7-8 or 92 pts.
I'm not scoring this one as I think I missed its optimum window at around 24 hours. You don't want to know what it tasted like with Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh

Are you sure it wasn't a Chicken Tarka? You know the one, its like a Chicken Tikka but a little otter!
(Never get fed up telling that one...)
92pts? Wow. Thats a high rating. Hope I think the same. Looking forward to it.

I wouldn't rate it at 92 pts, but then I never use those kind of points to score.
It is very nice juice and , bizzarely, what I like about it most is the colour of it
