NV Dow Tawny 10YO

Post by rich_n »

Opened in my continuing quest to find a 10 year old tawny that I can stock up on for regular drinking purposes. This was opened alongside a 2003 Cruz LBV with friends (my single-person bubble) who enjoy but don't know much about port.

I didn't make extensive notes as we were distracted chatting about other things, but my brief notes read: This is one of the better 10yo tawnies I've had. Raisins, nuts and butterscotch. Nice peppery background. Definitely one to consider stocking up on.

My friends preferred this to the LBV. I enjoyed both equally, I think, and would happily drink more of both.
