Deep - largely opaque - red.
Nose is quite strong: fig, soft raisin.. perhaps 'fresh' marzipan.
Black forest gateau; mid-sweet.
Fair length; some pencil at the end.. hint of liquorice.
Some tannin, not acidic, no alcohol aftertaste.
Seems to be of ideal age - balanced and perfectly drinkable. 90-91
