Note taken on day four. Previously too much eucalyptus to promote second-glass-dom.
60% opaque. Nose of garrigue and red cherries lightly poached by nanny while on holiday but sadly inadequately washed before doing so. Palate strongly herbaceous, but attractively red fruited in the middle; at the fairly long finish dominated, late, by white pepper. Full of interest though.
I eulogised about the previous bottle I had of this, but this one is very different, and not (until tonight, open four days, stored in 'fridge) ready. Good port but not the cellar defender i bought it as; I might put the other four away for five years.
Consumed 7/4/21-11/4/21
