From a half bottle purchased three weeks ago from Halifax Wine Company.

Decanted 4 Hours
Very dark and completely opaque. A nose of treacle and something that I recognise but can't describe. Initially quite light in the mouth but then thick and smooth. Molases, that's what that smell is, I used to feed it to horses many years ago. Stewed fruits, figs, damsons, prunes - stuff like that. Very tannic and very young. Delicious, but not ready by a long way.

Score: 6-8

This is obviously a classic example of how half bottles age quickly

I took the above note from a glass that was just above cellar temperature. It has now warmed up. It now has VA :x

Hmmm, reading your initial post I was quite happy, as we also have this in the cellar, but your second post saddened me.
