Dark brown/red colour. I thought it was slightly cloudy on pouring but it was chilled and cleared as it warmed up so probably just caused by the low temperature. Sticky toffee pudding nose. First taste was very light and weak on entry but then filled the mouth with brown sugar and aniseed. Initial light feel disappeared after a while in the glass and became reasonably thick and warming. Finish very long and sweet.
