2006 Roriz (cask sample)
Very dark crimson color. Middelweight structure.
Nose: overwhelmingly fruity with just a little alcohol and acidity. No tannins. Slight tobacco in the background.
Mouth: More complex than the nose offers. All the parts are there: fruit, alcohol, acidity, slight lack of tannins.
Very fruity aftertaste.
Well made, not the concentration of the 2005 and not the ageing potential, but definitely worth trying. Overall: 17
