An ullaged bottle bought for £20 at auction with a fill somewhere between mid and low shoulder. Sadly, the port was just so riddled with VA that it was undrinkable. This went down the sink, which is a very rare ocuurrence where I am concerned. Not rated. Opened 5 July 2008.

Some pictures of the Warre. There were plenty of warning signs that the bottle might have been spoiled, but the price was worth a gamble (pity I can't also link the smell - it was a bit stomach churning!):

The ullage on the bottle - I've opened worse and enjoyed them.

The BB&R capsule - normally a good sign of quality

The cork once the capsule was removed - not hopeful

The colour of the port - the picture really does not show how orange this was.
