NV Delaforce Tawny 20YO - Curious and Ancient

Post by DRT »

Purchased from The Wine Seller in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA on 26th July 2008.

The description on the label included the words "Curious and Ancient". I'm not sure if this is the standard De20YO offering or a second label.

I did not take a tasting note of this as it was used as a nightcap on each of our 7 nights spent listening to various scary bugs screaching away in the trees beside our balcony in Virginia in 90F+ degree heat and high humidity. Always served very chilled it was thick and very, very sweet but allowed me to keep up my port intake in very hostile conditions.

I don't think I would buy this again as i didn't seem to be anything special, even when tasted in the tranquil atmosphere of our air conditioned apartment.

It's the standard bottling. Thanks for the note!
