Believed to be vintage port. Deep honey colour, distinctly green rim. A subdued nose, a swirl brings out a little spirit and toffee and some damp earth. A fresh, slightly sour entry with a lot of bitterness and acidity like is found in sour apples. The length starts from the bitter apple juice flavours but lasts a reasonable time before suddenly dropping off. This was a snapshot in history, but was not a great wine for drinking today unless you have a taste for fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. 87/100. One hour of decanter time on 1 July 2007.
