English bottled, the first bottle out of a case. Bottle selected for being the one bottle to have very slight signs of seepage
Decanted 24 hrs ago.
Glorious dark ruby colour, classic nose. The wine is not unlike the Taylor '70, but is a little bit fiery.
This is not really fully mature yet - see what another day brings..

I thought the '70 Sandeman was more mature than that. I couldn't imagine more than one day of decanting on this one. I have them in both 750 and 1.5 formats.

After 48hrs there was a little more integration, but barely enough to justify the wait.
Not the best '70, but not far behind the top flight, and a wine that is not going south anytime soon, and might even show a little better before it does.
