Look: Lightly cloudy, medium tawny color.
Nose: Smokey with a very slight stale note to it.
Taste: Smooth. Not as tangy as I normally expect a tawny to be. Very slight, very mellow taste of VA.
Despite normally favoring Tawnies, this only ranked #6 for me just ahead of the Butler Nephew and behind the '38 and '42 Hoopers which I had tied.

Tasted Nov 11.
Nose of lemon drop with a slight spirity burnt sugar.
Very smooth on the palate candied cedar wood with a tangy orange aftertaste.
This is actually pretty good now.
i'd recommend that this bottle requires a 3 day decant.
