1972 Fonseca Guimaraens vintage port

From the era when industrial alcohol had been accidently used to fortify the grape must. The colour of burnt sugar. Off-notes all over the nose, with some stink on top of some cloying sweetness. Disjointed in the mouth. Quite horrid. Not rated.

I can't recall drinking this one, but it can't have been that bad - the decanter came back empty!
