Taking advantage of the greater availability of Colheita's in the US, I acquired and opened this yesterday. It was bottled in 2005. The colour was a medium caramel brown. To taste it was sweet and caramel flavours. General consensus from my normally non port drinking family was "very nice". My mother compared it to a madeira.

As more than half the bottle remains, I hope to update this after tonight!

I’m glad someone has, at last, has had a positive experience of the Messias, though excessive sweetness appears to be something of a house style!
