1998 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2007)

Another Texas acquisition. So much choice compared to the UK! This was bottled in 2007. It is quite a darl translucent reddish brown colour. Little obvious nose to it. Very dry (particularly compared to the Messiasconsumed a few days ago) to taste. Flavours of chocolate (not dairy milk, but a dark Swiss style) and not too much sweetness. The youth and lack of time in wood is apparent, but a very agreeable colheita for the price.
