decant +0:
Fair amount of lumpy sediment. Opaque with brick red rim. A fresh, youthfull, fruity nose but not very complex with mainly redcurrant, some tomato and nutmeg. Quite acidic in the mouth and a sweetness below average. On the palette cherries, fresh fig and a bit mineral. An avertaste that adds dried fig but is a bit alcoholic and somewhat bitter. Small amount of tannins.
decant +2:
It's getting a bit more body. Some blueberry has come into the nose. Some dark chocolate on the palette.
decant +3:
Some mint and black pepper have sneaked into the nose, making it rather spicey. The acidity has disappeared now. The palette is getting more fruity, there's a bit of strawberry in there. Still not much of a body though... it's going down a bit too fast. Quite a long aftertaste now of mainly red fruits.

decant +24:
A bit more alcoholic than day one. Other than that not much change. Still a lot of red berries and quite peppery on the nose.

A lightweight, but enjoyable VP.
