Decanted 2,5 hours.
Reasonable amount of fine sediment. Dark red-brown colour.
Fabulous nose of raisins, dried figs, dried apricot but also some fresh tones of plums. The nose is so lovely that you almost forget this liquid is also made for drinking. All the mentioned tones come back on the palette with dark chocolate and walnut added. Completed with an aftertaste that goes on forever.
Hardly any tannins.
The next evening this port was still holding up nicely.
