My notes from this session were lost. I recall this to have been a very nice wine. Not spectacular but very good for drinking now. JDAW and I argued briefly about which form of orange coloured fruit we could taste.

1970 Croft: mid way between red and brown, I unhelpfully described the nose as ‟an old Croft smell”, and tasting of Marmalade. The following day I was in the Badger brewery in Blandford and tasted some crystal malt. Just like Croft, I then thought.

My wine of this session’s ♦ flight (Bank of the Douro in Cima Corgo: Cr, D, G, OBV), and brought by me a slight atonement for the horrible Hutcheson.
